Mission Planning

Many of the senior Nova consultants have had significant military careers and therefore have a wealth of operational experience gained in many environments with different platforms, personnel & equipment configurations. Nova’s professional staff including Test pilots, Flight Test Engineers, ex-Operational aircrew and engineering personnel have extensive experience with the design, acquisition and operation of mission planning systems.

This advanced and in-depth organisational, environmental and equipment knowledge ensures that the Nova consultants are able to develop detailed mission plans that take into account geographical, environmental, equipment, communications, sustainment, supportability and human factors when developing mission plans. Further to actual mission planning, Nova has experienced personnel who have a demonstrated track record in supporting mission planning systems. Possessing specialist knowledge, Nova staff has been successful in supporting certification activities for complex mission planning systems. Recent successes involve contributions towards the certification of the Onboard Performance System of the Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control Mission Support System.
